2017 French Election: Volatility and Opportunity

French Election: Volatility and Opportunity

This weekend sees the first round of voting in the French General Election. The race is wide open with 11 candidates contesting the first round of voting on Sunday 23 April. Assuming no candidate wins more than 50% of the vote, the top two contenders will then go through to a run-off on 7 May. There will be many trading opportunities in EURUSD and other key markets throughout this time.

At this present time there are no plans to change client leverage, however we do reserve the right to change at any stage. Please ensure that your account is adequately funded to manage your open positions, and to take advantage of opportunities that may present themselves through this potentially volatile period.
