How can I have my credit card approved for deposits?

Under Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Law we are required to only accept funds from a source that is in the same name as your trading account. Sighting a copy of your credit card heavily reduces any chance of fraudulent activity. To be approved for credit card funding, our compliance team must be able to verify:

  • That the name on the card matches your trading account name
  • That the last 4 digits of the card are visible
  • That the expiry date is valid

To apply for credit card funding, please take a scan or photo of the credit card(s) that you plan to use. We strongly advise that you cover up the credit card number except the last 4 digits:

What are Titan FX trading hours?
Most FX pairs can be traded 24 hours on weekdays with a five-minute break from 23:59 (server time) until 00:04 (server time); on Friday, trading ceases five minutes earlier, at 23:55 (server time) rather than at 00:00, to prevent wide spreads as liquidity providers go offline at the end of the week.
Server time is set to GMT+3 while US daylight saving is in place, and GMT+2 when the US is not under daylight saving time. This allows for the daily candle to close at the end of the trading day in New York, as the New York market close is widely considered as the end of the trading day.
Some exceptions to the general rule apply to a few currencies and other assets, which are outlined here.
What is Titan FX server time and GMT offset?
00:00 Titan FX server time is always equivalent to 5:00pm in New York. Therefore, our trading server time changes following US daylight saving time.

When US daylight saving time is active, Titan FX server time is GMT+3
When US daylight saving time is not active, Titan FX server time is GMT+2

If you are using an EA with a GMT offset setting, please make sure to set the correct time.

Can I change my chart time?
No, the trading platform time can’t be changed. However some EAs may change the display time in MT4.
How many positions can I have at the same time?
You can have up to 200 positions at the same time, including pending orders.
Can I hedge positions?
Yes, you can hedge positions in your Titan FX account.
The ability to hedge allows you to hold both buy and sell positions in the same product simultaneously, having the ability to enter the market without choosing a particular direction. While the ability to hedge is an appealing feature, you should be aware of the factors that may affect hedged positions. It is important to note that even a fully hedged account may suffer losses due to rollover costs, exchange rate fluctuations or widening spreads.
Is partial close possible?
Yes, a partial order close on an open trade is possible. Follow these steps:

  1. Double click on the trade you wish to partially close to open ‘Order Window’. You can also right click and select “Modify or Delete Order”.

Why is my chart showing different prices from the market watch?

If you are trading with a Blade account, you can simply quote the bid/ask displayed in the charts, while if you are trading with a Standard account, please refer to the bid/ask prices displayed in the Market Watch or One Click Trading window, since there is a slight difference between Standard and Blade account spreads.

What is slippage?
Slippage is the difference between the price you ordered and the price at which the order was actually executed.
As a ECN/STP broker, Titan FX provides market execution within the interbank market. Slippage can happen when there is not enough liquidity at the price requested to fill your order – as a result, the order will be filled at the next available price.
Slippage is more likely to occur when the market volatility is high, like during high impact news announcements or rollover time.
Please note that stop loss, take profit, buy/sell stop and buy/sell limit orders are conditional, and therefore can vary from the requested price (please refer section 12.12 of Titan FX PDS).
What is the spread?
The spread is the difference between the bid and ask prices in market quotes. The ask price is applicable to a buy order, whereas the bid price is applicable to a sell order.
Titan FX has some of the tightest spreads in the industry. Spreads as low as zero pips are possible on the Blace ECN platform due to the diversity of the Titan FX Liquidity Provider Network (LPN). Click here to know more about Titan FX spreads.
What is rollover and at what time does it occur?
Every day at 5pm New York Time (23:59 to 00:01 server time), you will note that our platform has a blackout for 2 minutes due to rollover. In the Global Forex Markets this is widely known as ‘End of Forex Day’.

Monday trading opens at 00:01 (server time)
Rollover period goes from 23:59 to 00:01 (server time)
Friday trading closes at 23:55 (server time)
(all FOREX pairs except USDRUB, USDCZK, and URCZK)

During the rollover time, all the large investment banks around the world reset their systems and prepare for the next trading day. Being an ECN broker, Titan FX server also experiences that 2-minute blackout time.
Please note that spreads could be widen and big spikes or volatility may occur around rollover time due to the low liquidity. For this reason, Titan FX strongly recommends its clients to be very careful when trading during the rollover period.

What is swap point and how can I check it?
A swap is the difference between the overnight interest of the two currencies involved in a pair, and it depends on whether the position is a buy long or sell short. Swaps are applied to your trading account during the rollover time only when your positions are kept open until the next forex trading day.
If you have open positions on Wednesday and carry them over to the next day, the swaps are charged at triple rates due to the settlement of trades through the weekend period.
You can check the swap point for each currency pair within MT4:

  1. Right click on Market Watch and choose Symbols
  2. Click on the currency pair you wish to check the swap for and click Properties
  3. Check Swap Long and Swap Short on the Contract Specification window
