Titan FX Team

As we look back on 2025, we thought it would be interesting to share a few observations based on how our clients traded over the past year.

FX Pairs That Stood Out

Looking at overall FX trading activity, several currency pairs showed comparatively stronger outcomes across our trading community.

  • EUR/GBP:Trading activity in EUR/GBP reflected ongoing differences in economic momentum and monetary policy expectations between the Eurozone and the UK. Throughout the year, traders closely followed inflation data and central bank communications from both regions, which helped sustain interest in the pair.
  • USD/CAD:Movements in USD/CAD were influenced by developments in energy markets alongside key North American economic data. Fluctuations in oil prices and broader U.S. dollar sentiment continued to shape trading activity in this pair.
  • USD/TRY:USD/TRY trading remained sensitive to domestic inflation conditions and monetary policy signals in Turkey, together with broader U.S. dollar dynamics. These factors contributed to periods of heightened attention and activity throughout the year.

Of course, every trader’s journey is different, but it is always interesting to see where trading activity and market conditions align.

Gold: The Crowd Favourite

Gold (XAU/USD) once again proved to be the favourite among traders, leading the way in overall trading volume throughout the year.

Its popularity isn’t surprising. Gold is often the first choice during uncertain market conditions. That said, high popularity does not always translate into easy outcomes. Gold remains a dynamic and fast-moving market, where preparation and disciplined risk management continue to matter.

Growing Interest in Crypto

Crypto trading, particularly BTCUSD, continued to attract interest as traders explored digital assets alongside more traditional products.

While crypto did not dominate overall trading volume, it remained an area of growing curiosity and experimentation among our traders, reflecting how trading interests continue to evolve.

A Final Note

One thing became clear when looking back at the year:

The most traded instruments are not always the ones with the strongest outcomes.

Understanding market behavior, managing risk, and choosing products that suit your trading style continue to matter more than following popularity alone.

Thank you for choosing Titan FX. We look forward to supporting you in the year ahead.
