We’re happy to announce, from the 27th of February 2023, we will be adding a new trading account type, the Zero Micro Account.
With Micro accounts, traders will have the option to trade with smaller contract sizes compared to the Standard and Blade accounts. The maximum available account leverage is 1000:1, and there are no separate transaction costs, so you can start trading with a small initial deposit. A great way for traders new to the market and who want to trial different methods and products.
A total of 37 products that can be traded, including 34 currency pairs. Please see the below for a list of tradable instruments and contract sizes for each product.

Micro accounts are especially recommended in the following cases.
- I practised with a demo account, but I can't take the first step to start with a real account
- I just started FX, so I want to get used to trading with smaller units and margin
- I want to start trading products that are different from usual, so I want to try small lots first
- I want to test new technical methods and EAs in a real environment
- I want to give it a try before starting full-scale operation with a Standard or Blade account
- I want to have better control over my initial investment
Let's calculate how much required margin is needed to trade, using the example of trading USD/JPY, Gold and Bitcoin with the maximum Micro account leverage of 1000:1.
[Trading 1 lot of USDJPY-m: Required Margin = Lots x Contract Size ÷ Leverage]
1 x 1000 ÷ 1000 = 1 USD
[Trading 0.5 lots of XAUUSD-m at $1850: Required Margin = Price x Lots x Contract Size ÷ Leverage] 1850 x 10 x 0.5 ÷ 1000 = 9.25 USD
[Trading 0.3 lots of BTCUSD-m at $23,000: Required Margin = Price x Lots x Contract Size ÷ Leverage (Bitcoin applies 20x product leverage)]
23000 x 0.1 x 0.3 ÷ 20 = 34.5 USD
Also, with Titan FX, Micro accounts can hold up to 200 positions in the same way as Standard and Blade accounts, and when the margin rate falls below 90%, a margin call will be triggered, with stopouts triggered at or below 20%
